Govt appoints former Deputy PM Mutko as CEO of DOM.RF

MOSCOW, Jan 29 (PRIME) -- The supervisory board of Russian national housing development institution DOM.RF has appointed former Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Mutko as its new CEO until January 28, 2025, a representative for Mutko told PRIME late on Tuesday.

“Yes, we confirm this information,” the representative said when asked about reports of several Telegram news channels.

According to DOM.RF, the board elected Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin as the board’s chairman.

The board now comprises Construction, Housing and Utilities Minister Vladimir Yakushev, Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Moiseyev, former CEO of DOM.RF Alexander Plutnik, Deputy Economic Development Minister Azer Talybov, First Deputy CEO of VEB.RF Mikhail Poluboyarinov, First Vice President of Gazprombank Maxim Raskosnov, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko, and Marina Yentaltseva.

A representative of DOM.RF said that Plutnik was appointed as the CEO of DOM.RF, or AIZhK at the time, in April 2015, and that over the past five years the company has become an efficient financial development institution in the housing sector of Russia. It now plays an important role in implementation of the corresponding national project, the representative said.
